Beautiful Brunch Number 1: Collingwood Children's Farm

Because brunch is undeniably the Best. Meal. EVER. I'll be filling you in (and up) on my favourite spots to grab a long black.

The thing about Melbourne is that if you've reached midday on Sunday and you haven't had brunch yet, you've massively missed out. Melbourne is absolutely littered with amazing coffee shops, brunch bars, drive through brunch takeaway windows and lazy weekend eateries. No weekend is complete without a hit of coffee and some sourdough.

For my first brunch post, I give you a long black coffee served with a smile and a generous heap of newspapers from the Collingwood Children's Farm. If you think children's farms aren't for you - you're wrong. This one is full of locals in the know. Families come to see the animals, friends come to escape the inner city for a couple of hours and sweaty cyclists take well-deserved respite under the leafy canopy of this cool, calm and collected cafe.
